DISNEYLAND AFTER DARK: SWEETHEARTS NITE (2025)

Two years later and we had the opportunity to attend Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts Nite! Our first one was in 2023 a month after our marriage!
This year I decided to take the day off so we could really enjoy the early entry to the event.
The event starts at 9-PM, but you are allowed into the park at 6-PM.
The event ends at 1-AM.
Parking is not included, and it will cost you $35.
Tickets cost me $149 each, and that is one the cheap dates (February 4).

DINNER AT CENTRICO
We decided to try out the restaurant Centrico in Downtown Disney for dinner. It was our first time and probably not our last, but we will not be running to return to the restaurant. If you want more information on my experience at Centrico, check out my blog on it.
EARLY ENTRY (6-PM TO 9-PM)
The minute we entered the park I decided to place our mobile order for the funnel cake, I scheduled it for a pickup between 11:30 PM - 11:55 PM. Figured it would be a nice way to end our night, and it was a good choice as we definitely enjoyed the funnel cake.
The first thing I wanted to do was to go check out the Special Event store at Starcade. We checked out the merchandise and it was all cute, but I already knew what I wanted. The event pin, that is all I wanted. They also had two photo backdrops in here, we only did one. I was also looking for a Dooney & Bourke bag themed out to the Valentines Holiday, but I didn't find one.
After that we decided to focus on riding rides as we waited for the event to start. We were able to get on, Pinocchio, Casey Jr Train, Winnie the Pooh, Millennium Falcon, Pirates of the Caribbean, & Indiana Jones.

Once the event started, we began making lines for the photo ops. I knew I wanted to update our 2023 photos, like the magic carpet and the tombstones. Unfortunately, I was only able to do the magic carpet ride, but not to worry as the other photos I got were all lovely!
When I met my husband, he was one of the few that liked Anakin Skywalker as much as I did. Anakin's and Padme's relationship is one of my favorites out there, and this was before Disney acquired Lucasfilm. For 2023 I got us matching Anakin and Padme shirts. So, for 2025 I decided to stick to the same theme. I purchased us an Anakin and Padme sweater, embroider with a custom message from Custom Matching Couple.
I enjoy going to this event because I love to see all the couples with their matching shirts or sweaters. Let's be honest, for some hetero men doing the whole matching with your girl isn't their thing. However, nothing like a Disney event themed to love & romance to make that happen.
You guys, the faces I see on these men just make me smile & laugh internally! I laugh because my man is the same (lol). The very first time I had my husband match with me his face was like "REALLY?? WHY?!". That was for our first Disney World Trip as a couple, we had to do the matching! Since then, he's been a good sport about it. I am a considerate wife, so I do ask for his opinion when I order the matching outfits.
CELEBRATE LOVE & FRIENDSHIP
If you can do this event with a loved one, I definitely recommend it. If you are a Disney lover or know a Disney lover and want to do something special or different for a date night, this is a great option! I'm not sure if we will do it next year, but if they still have this going on in 2027, we will be there!
I don't think you have to be a couple to enjoy this. I am a huge supporter of self-love and friendships! You don't need a romantic partner to enjoy this, all you need is an amazing friend or person with you who is down to enjoy this with a smile, good energy, and love! Love comes in all different forms.
